Iran donates $50,000 for Pakistan flood affectees
ISLAMABAD, July 7 : The Islamic Republic of Iran on
Thursday donated $50,000 for flood affectees in Pakistan.
The visiting Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh
handed over a cheque of fifty thousand dollars to his Pakistani counterpart
Amanullah Khan Jadoon in Islamabad.
The Iranian Oil Minister is Pakistan for talks on the
proposed multi-billion dollars Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project
as well as import of Iranian gas for Pakistan’s domestic consumption.
Heavy floods affected parts in northwest frontier and
Punjab provinces.
Pakistan Petroleum Minister Amanullah Khan Jadoon
thanked his Iranian counterpart for donation and hoped that the donation
will help the affected families.
