PIA reduces Quetta-Dubai fare by 45%
QUETTA: PIA on Tuesday reduced its Quetta-Dubai
airfare by 45% and introduced another flight from Turbat to Sharjah.
“PIA has increased the number of its weekly flights from Quetta
to Karachi to eight by adding a flight today,” PIA Balochistan
GM Asghar Mohiuddin Wardag said on Tuesday, adding that a proposal
on operating seven flights a week between Quetta and Lahore was under
consideration. Wardag said PIA would introduce a special ‘advance-booking
package’ from March 1 under which passengers on international
routes would be given a 10% concession if they book seats 30 days
before departure and 7.5% concession if they book seats 15 days before
departure. “Those booking seats on domestic flights seven days
before departure would be given a 10% concession in airfare,”
he added. He said PIA had introduced another package under which a
50% concession would be given to passengers who get seats on chance.
