Rashid denies govt contact with Nawaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD: Federal Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed met with President Musharraf at President House here on Monday.
They discussed political situation, return of Sharif brothers, talks with Benazir Bhutto, presidential elections and other important issues.
After the meeting, Sheikh Rashid told Geo News that all issues including political situation were discussed in the meeting.
About return of Sharif brothers, federal minister said that president was of the view that the decision would be taken on the time of their return according to the strategy chalked out in this respect.
Rashid said that the government has not contacted Sharifs in London. He said the result of negotiations with Benazir would come out soon.
