Indo-US civil nuke deal threatens sea frontiers:

ISLAMABAD: The Chief of Pakistan
Navy Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir said that the civil nuclear agreement
between US and India has posed threat to Pakistan’s water frontiers
and we are fully aware of it.
Pakistan Navy would send recommendations to the government
to meet the challenge, Naval chief told Geo in a function held at
Bahariya University.
He said that Pakistan Navy was in a strong position,
thanks to President Musharraf, as he took priority measures to fulfill
the requirements of Pakistan Navy.
Admiral Afzal said that the Navy was ready to protect
sea borders and Pakistan Navy would fulfill the nation’s expectations.
Regarding nuclear threat in the sea, he said its
dimensions would be evaluated on the proper time. The mission of Pakistan
Navy is to protect country’s sea borders, he added.
